 Mission Statement 

        To provide meaningful Jewish experiences, educational and renewal opportunities for the Jewish students of KC and for the Jewish children and adults
of the community.

  GOALS FOR FISCAL YEAR - 2012  

Youth Activities

  •    ¨ To plan and carry out a 7-week day Camp for Jewish children which many are of low-income immigrant families.
  •    ¨ To plan and carry out a monthly Jewish Children’s club of Tzivohs Hashem.
  •    ¨ To develop and build the weekly lunch & learn class for the Jewish students at KC.
  •    ¨ To continue to council the Jewish students at KC.
  •    ¨ To plan and carry out successful Shabbaton weekends for Jewish College students.
  •    ¨ To distribute beautiful Menorah kits to the students of KC prior to Chanukah.
  •    ¨ To distribute Shalach Manos kits to the students of KC.
  •    ¨ To distribute Shmurah Matzoh to the students of KC.
  •    ¨ To arrange a Sukkah mobile for the holiday of Succos at KC.

 Programs for Adults

  •    ¨ To build and expand the weekly class in Jewish Mysticism.
  •    ¨ To develop seminars of adult education on various Religious, Philosophical and Spiritual issues.
  •    ¨ To organize occasional group visits to the “Ohel”.
  •    ¨ Teffilin & Mezuza campaign.
  •    ¨ Emergency financial assistance fund.
  •    ¨ To arrange and facilitate circumcisions for Jews of all ages.

 Holiday Activities (in most part) for Jewish Russian Immigrants

  •    ¨ To plan and carry out a successful community Chanukah Party.
  •    ¨ To plan and carry out a residential Chanukah Party.
  •    ¨ To plan and carry out a successful community Purim Party.
  •    ¨ To plan and carry out a beautiful, joyous and inspiring Purim feast.
  •    ¨ To distribute Shalach Manos to many. And to facilitate multiple Meggilah readings to many.
  •    ¨ To distribute Matzah Shmurah to many.
  •    ¨ To plan and carry out successful communal Sedorim.
  •    ¨ The Shabbos experience.
